Peter Chin-Hong, MD, Resident Alum
Dr. Chin-Hong is the associate dean for regional campuses at UCSF. Director of the immunocompromised host infectious diseases program at UCSF, he has been a leader of institutional and community education around COVID-19 and MPOX. Dr. Chin-Hong also is a medical educator who specializes in treating infectious diseases, particularly infections that develop in patients who have suppressed immune systems, such as solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients. He earned his medical degree from Brown University and completed an internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at UCSF.
