Guo-Hao “Alex” Lin, MS, DDS
Dr. Lin is an associate professor of clinical orofacial sciences and director of the Postgraduate Residency Program in Periodontics at UCSF. At the UCSF Dental Center, he provides patient care services limited to periodontics and dental implants. Dr. Lin is a recipient of several awards from the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Foundation. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and his research focuses on evidence-based dentistry (systematic reviews and meta-analysis) and implant-related clinical studies. He received his dental education from the National Yang-Ming University in Taiwan and earned his master’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
